1: Register your requirements.
The first step in the renting process is to register your requirements with us either by calling 0845 226 2833 or register online (click here), we look forward to hearing from you where we can discuss your requirements and help you find your ideal property.
2: Starting your search.
With your requirements registered with REDSTONES you will receive a selection of properties that match your criteria.
An early viewing is recommended to secure a property.
We are available at times convenient for you to view after work and at weekends.
Being available means a high percentage of viewings are carried out after work and at weekends.
4: Ideal property selected.
Once you have found a suitable property and completed your application, your details will be put forward to the landlord for approval, once accepted references will be applied for.
5: Tenancy agreement.
On receiving satisfactory references and confirmation from the landlord that they would like to proceed we will draw up the relevant paperwork, forming a tenancy agreement to be signed by both parties.
A photographic digital inventory is usually produced of the contents and condition of the property prior to the commencement of the tenancy. A copy will be supplied to both the landlord and the tenant.
7: Rent and deposit.
An advance payment of rent is required prior to the commencement of the tenancy.
A security deposit is also required from the tenant. As legislation stipulates, where relevant, your security deposit will be held by a government approved third party DPS (Deposit Protection Service). The security deposit will be refunded to you at the end of the tenancy, subject to the terms of the tenancy agreement and the inventory check –out report.
8: Check in.
Keys are now handed over.
